Welcome to the POEA’s e-Registration. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS Because the POEA would like to serve you better, we are bringing one of our services on the net – the e-Registration Component of the POEA e-Services Portal. The e-Registration website provides its service to you, subject to the following Terms and Conditions, which may be updated by the POEA from time to time without notice to you. You can review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions at any time at this site. Please read this page carefully. By using this site, you are indicating your acceptance to be bounded by the terms of these Terms and Conditions. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE The POEA e-Services Portal is the POEA’s online service facility which offers convenient, responsive, speedy and easy access to online services to the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), foreign employers, recruitment agencies and other government agencies/entities who are involved in overseas employment programs. The portal is available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week (24 x 7) for accessing overseas employment information, applying for agency license, filling requests for registration of principals, applying for issuance of overseas employment certificate (OEC), registering for overseas employment, paying for processing fees and verifying the status of transactions. The portal interfaces with other government agencies’ information systems - by means of the most reliable and secure information exchange technology - to enable the direct validation of information entered by the users to the portal, thereby streamlining the business processes and effecting a positive economic benefit. The portal is part of a larger program that intends to implement data sharing and information exchange with other government agencies, e.g. Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA), National Statistics Office (NSO), Overseas Workers Welfare (OWWA), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), National Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Philippine Overseas Labor Offices (POLOs) and other agencies to facilitate the authentication of the supporting documents, validation of credentials presented by OFWs and general verification of the existence of personal, educational and professional records in other government agencies. The e-Registration component of the POEA e-Services Portal offers the facility for Filipino worker applicants who are aspiring for overseas employment, either through POEA-licensed agencies (Landbased or Sea-based) or POEA’s Government Placement Branch (GPB). PRIVACY POLICY POEA is committed to respecting the privacy of an individual. The institution makes every effort to protect an individual’s personal information and to be treat all information collected with confidentiality. Registering or signing-up to the e-Services Portal entails providing the necessary information: personal information, beneficiary information and contact details; job preference(s); identification and licenses; educational attainments; work experiences and trainings and language proficieny(ies). These information are necessary for POEA to perform contracts processing with licensed agencies; job matching, placement and recruitment with POEA’s Government placement Branch. The information that are gathered in this site will be shared with the foreign employers in response to their manpower requirements. The POEA may use the applicants’ contact information in order to send them e-mail or other communications regarding updates of their application at the POEA. The nature and frequency of these messages will vary depending upon the application status of the applicants. The same communications or notifications can be accessed from the myPOEA component of the e-Services Portal. USE OF COOKIES The eServices Portal collects other information for statistical purposes and to help design new services that may be as a result of such statistics. This can be done through the use of "cookies" where the eServices Portal puts information into your computer in order to remember something about an activity at a later time. A cookie used by the portal is Google Analytics. For more information on Google’s Privacy Policy, please refer to: TERMS OF USE By signing-up, you agree to be bounded by the terms and conditions of this site: In consideration of your use of this site, you agree to: (a) provide true and complete information about yourself as prompted by the e-Registration form and (b) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true and complete. Applicants agree not to use this site for any of the following purposes which are expressly prohibited: Posting incomplete, untrue or inaccurate biographical information or inaccurate resume information which is not their own accurate resume Deleting or revising any information posted by any other person or entity Disclosing to or sharing own password with any third parties or using own password for any unauthorized purpose. Printing, downloading, duplicating or copying and using any personally identifiable information about other users. Violating or attempting to violate the security of this site, including accessing data not intended for them or logging into a server or account which they are not authorized to access, probe or test the vulnerability of a system or network, attempting to interfere with service to any user, host or network. Violations of this security may result in civil or criminal liability. Using this site in order to transmit, distribute or store material in violation of any applicable law or regulation, or in any manner that will infringe the copyright. Using any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any activity being conducted on this site. Applicants acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for the content of and accuracy of the resume placed by them in this site. The POEA does not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy or reliability of any information posted by the registrants. The POEA however reserves the right to the following: Request the applicants to submit the hardcopy of POEA registration requirements in order to verify the authenticity of the posted information in case the applicants are pre-qualified by the POEA for overseas employment; Expel any applicant and prevent their further access to the POEA’s site, at any time for breaching the terms and conditions of this site or violating the law Remove any information which is abusive, illegal or disruptive. PASSWORD USAGE You will receive a password and account designation upon completing the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify the POEA of any unauthorized use of your Password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. It is your responsibility to ensure that only you have access to your information by keeping your User ID and Password secured. As such, you subscribe to following: 1. I agree not to let anyone know of my Password 2. I agree to assume full responsibility for all transactions made in my accounts through the use of my User ID and Password. It is understood that the Password is known only to me and as such, any transaction effected using my Password shall be conversely presumed to be done by me or authorized by me. 3. I further agree to undertake to change my Password from time to time as I deem necessary and should I feel that my Password has been compromised, I shall immediately change my Password through the e-Registration Change Password Facility. You acknowledge and agree that POEA may preserve Content and may also disclose Content if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce the Terms and Conditions; (c) respond to claims that any Content violates the rights of third-parties; or (d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of the POEA, its users, and the public. DISCLAIMER The POEA does not warrant that this site will operate error-free or that its server is free of computer viruses or other harmful mechanisms. The web site content are provided on an "AS-IS" basis without any warranties of any kind. POEA, to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including the warranty of merchantability, fitness for particular purpose and non-infringement. POEA makes no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the web site content, services, software, text, graphics, and links.
